President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Islamabad late Wednesday (February 12) for a two-day official visit. He was welcomed at Nur Khan Airbase by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and senior government officials.
During his visit, President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Sharif will co-chair the 7th Session of the Pakistan-Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC).
At the end of the session, a joint declaration and multiple agreements are expected to be signed before both leaders address the press. Erdoğan and Sharif will also hold a joint press stakeout following the talks.
President Erdoğan is also scheduled to meet Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari at the Presidential Palace to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments.
The visit is expected to further strengthen diplomatic, economic, and defense cooperation between Türkiye and Pakistan, reinforcing the long-standing partnership between the two nations.
