Uzbekistan boosted its economic diplomacy in New York as President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met U.S. business and government leaders to explore new trade and investment opportunities.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted a roundtable in New York City with leading U.S. companies, senior executives from international financial institutions and representatives of the U.S. Government. The discussions centred on expanding two-way trade and investment flows and identifying priority areas for near and long-term cooperation.

According to the Uzbek side, a number of new agreements and initiatives were reached, opening the way for fresh opportunities and durable collaboration between Uzbekistan and the United States. These outcomes are expected to support private sector participation, facilitate financing for strategic projects and encourage co-creation in high value sectors.
Officials and business leaders described the New York engagements as a practical step toward a future-oriented partnership that benefits people in both countries. The meetings reinforced the shared commitment to deepen economic links, build resilient supply chains and broaden the base of joint ventures that can deliver tangible results.
