President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a state visit to Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Tuesday, 8th July.
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a state visit to Tajikistan at the invitation of President Emomali Rahmon, the head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, Sagynbek Abdumutalip, announced on Monday.
“As part of the state visit, bilateral talks with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon are planned, as well as meetings with the speakers of the two chambers of parliament and the country's prime minister,” Abdumutalip said.
The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of a Joint Statement by the two presidents and several bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation across various sectors.
In addition to high-level political talks, the programme will include a Kyrgyz-Tajik economic and investment forum, designed to enhance trade and business ties, and a cultural concert titled "Eternal Friendship", featuring performances by artists from both countries.
The visit comes as part of broader regional efforts to deepen diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations between the neighbouring Central Asian states.
