Sean "Diddy" Combs is set to be arraigned on Friday in Manhattan federal court following a new indictment that adds claims of forced labour in his two-decade sex trafficking scheme. The indictment accuses Combs of compelling employees to work long hours under threats of physical, financial, and reputational harm. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Prosecutors allege that Combs used his business empire, particularly Bad Boy Entertainment, to exploit women from 2004 to 2024, including coercing them into “freak offs” with male sex workers. Combs' lawyer denies the accusations, asserting that all sexual activity was consensual.
Combs is also facing multiple civil lawsuits for sexual assault and misconduct, all of which he denies. Jury selection for his trial is scheduled for April 21, though defence lawyers are seeking a delay to May 5. He has been in jail since his September 2024 arrest.
