The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026 will mark its 10th anniversary with a major entertainment programme in Baku, headlined by global pop star Katy Perry.
Organisers said the race weekend will combine high-speed action on the street circuit with a “festival-style” music line-up, with Perry set to perform live on 25 September during a special evening concert.
One of the most successful recording artists in the world, Katy Perry has achieved more than 115 billion global streams and sold more than 70 million albums. Known for hits including 'Firework', 'Roar' and 'Dark Horse', she has also received seven RIAA Diamond-certified titles and built a reputation for large-scale touring and elaborate stage productions.
Her performance will be part of a broader entertainment programme already confirmed to include DJ and producer Calvin Harris, as Baku prepares to host one of its most high-profile Grand Prix weekends to date.
The organisers said the 10th anniversary edition of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be designed as a landmark event, combining motorsport, live music and fan experiences across the race weekend.
The Baku City Circuit, which hosts the race, has become known for its tight street layout, long straights and unpredictable racing since joining the Formula 1 calendar in 2016.
Officials said four-day ticket holders will have access to all on-track sessions as well as the headline concerts, with organisers encouraging fans to secure places early for what they described as a “complete race weekend experience”.
A peace agreement between Washington and Tehran is yet to materialise, with U.S. President Donald Trump saying that negotiations are incomplete and an Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman saying that a deal isn't imminent.
