Egypt has partially opened the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), revealing several historical galleries to the public. Located near the iconic Pyramids of Giza, the museum is set to house some of the world’s most renowned ancient artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun and the solar boats buried alongside the Pyramid of Khufu. While these major exhibits are yet to be fully showcased, visitors can now explore parts of Egypt's rich heritage.

The museum, under construction for over 20 years, was initially slated to open earlier. However, political events and budget constraints led to delays in the grand opening. Despite this, the main hall and select galleries are now accessible to the public, offering a glimpse of the comprehensive collection that spans thousands of years of Egyptian history.

Officials have yet to announce a date for the official grand opening, leaving the public eagerly awaiting the full unveiling of one of the most significant cultural institutions in the world.
