On March 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Nail Maganov, General Director of Russia’s "Tatneft," Askhat Khassenov, Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhstan’s "KazMunayGas," and Bakhodirjon Sidikov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan’s "Uzbekneftegaz."
President Ilham Aliyev stated that a new phase of multilateral cooperation has begun, emphasizing that successful preparations have been made for this. He praised the strong production ties already established between the oil companies of Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, noting that several projects have been implemented bilaterally. He stressed the importance of joining efforts in this area.
The president highlighted the significance of quadrilateral cooperation in joint production and fulfilling orders for friendly nations.
Participants of the meeting, focused on the prospects of the newly established cooperation format, highlighted plans to collaborate on emergency response and mitigation efforts, optimize work in digital technologies and software solutions, streamline joint procurement processes, and support the development of various industrial sectors.
They also noted that this new cooperation format remains open to the participation of other foreign companies.
