US President Donald Trump rejected the official assessment from his intelligence community that Iran is not currently building a nuclear weapon.
US President Donald Trump said Friday that a major deal with Harvard University could be announced soon.
“We have been working closely with Harvard, and it is very possible that a deal will be announced over the next week or so,” Trump said on social media.
The administration recently cut $3 billion in funding to Harvard and threatened to remove its tax-exempt status, citing protests on campus supporting Palestine and diversity programs.
“They have acted extremely appropriately during these negotiations and seem committed to doing what is right,” Trump added. “If a settlement is made on the basis currently being discussed, it will be historic and very good for our country.”
Earlier this month, Trump restricted foreign student visas to Harvard, but a federal judge temporarily blocked the move after the university filed a legal challenge.
