Israel’s military has announced that SEPAH General Ali Shadmani, head of Iran’s “Khatam al-Anbiya” central command headquarters, was killed in an airstrike on Tehran.
As reported by Unikal, Shadmani had only recently been appointed to the post—four days ago—by order of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, following the death of General Gholam Ali Rashid, who was also killed in a previous Israeli strike.
General Shadmani was considered one of Khamenei’s closest military aides. He also served as the Commander of Iran’s Armed Forces Emergency Command and held key leadership roles within the IRGC and the regular army.
At the time of his death, he was also acting as the Head of the Operations Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. His death marks a significant escalation in the ongoing military confrontation between Israel and Iran.
