Kazakhstan is ready to boost trade with Slovakia by offering key exports like oil, gas, uranium, and food, President Tokayev said after meeting Slovak PM Fico in Astana.
During his meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Astana, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced readiness to supply Slovakia with vital commodities, including oil, gas, uranium, and food products. Emphasizing the goal of enhancing economic cooperation, Tokayev praised Slovakia as a steadily growing economy and called for stronger trade and investment ties. He underlined the importance of the Intergovernmental Commission in this process and suggested upgrading its co-chairs to the ministerial level to ensure more strategic direction. Highlighting areas like energy, agriculture, engineering, digitalization, and tourism, Tokayev pointed to several promising avenues for joint projects.
