The Pakistan military has alleged that India fired six ballistic missiles that fell within its own borders.
The announcement was made by Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, director general of Pakistan's military media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Chaudhry alleged that the missiles were fired at the Sikh community in India.
According to Chaudhry, five of the missiles fell in the city of Amritsar, while one landed in Adampur, both located in the Indian state of Punjab. This claim has yet to be independently verified.
