Oscar Piastri dominated in Miami for his third straight Formula One victory, leading a McLaren one-two and tightening his grip on the championship.

Oscar Piastri claimed a commanding victory at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, leading a dominant McLaren one-two and extending his Formula One championship lead over teammate Lando Norris to 16 points after six rounds.

Starting from fourth on the grid, the Australian secured his third consecutive win — following triumphs in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia — and his fourth of the season. McLaren has now won five of the six races so far this year.

Mercedes' George Russell finished third, though he crossed the line 37.644 seconds behind Piastri.

Red Bull’s reigning world champion Max Verstappen finished fourth after being overtaken by both McLarens, continuing a Miami trend where the pole-sitter has never won since the race’s debut in 2022.
