A Russian airstrike on Ukraine's Kostyantynivka killed three civilians and injured four others, local prosecutors said Sunday, as Russian forces continue pushing closer to the frontline city, damaging dozens of homes in the attack.
According to the Donetsk region prosecutor’s office on Facebook, Russia dropped three glide bombs on the city, located about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the front lines. Russian forces have been slowly advancing toward the area over the past year. The victims included a 47-year-old man, a 48-year-old woman, and a 78-year-old pensioner. Additionally, 21 homes were damaged. Photos shared by prosecutors showed a destroyed one-story house and a charred car.
