Trump on Russia strikes on Kyiv: 'Vladimir, STOP!"
President Donald Trump called on Vladimir Putin to halt missile strikes on Kyiv, urging a return to peace talks amid rising casualties.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday night in Paris for a working dinner at the Élysée Palace, ahead of a "coalition of the willing" summit.
The "Coalition of the Willing", consisting of 31 nations, will convene in Paris to finalize security guarantees for Ukraine, including potential peacekeeping measures.
Tomorrow’s summit could be a pivotal moment in shaping Europe’s response to the conflict, with discussions focusing on long-term security commitments and strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
"This meeting follows last week’s gathering of military chiefs of staff in Paris and today’s meeting of operational deputy chiefs in London. We will finalise our work to support the Ukrainian army and build a sustainable and resilient military model to prevent future Russian invasions. We will also define the security guarantees that European forces can provide," Macron posted on X.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Zelensky denounced the latest Russian attacks, as Moscow launched more than 100 drones overnight—just hours after agreeing to the outlines of a Black Sea ceasefire
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy wrote on X that 117 strike drones, mostly Shaheds, were launched overnight, stating that this proves 'how Russia continues to drag out this war."
Dnipro, Sumy, Cherkasy, and other regions came under Russian attack. There was a massive drone strike on Kryvyi Rih – targeting a local enterprise and civilian infrastructure. Since March 11, the U.S. has proposed a total ceasefire and a complete halt to strikes. And literally every night, through its attacks, Russia keeps saying “No” to our partners’ peace proposal," - Zelenskyy stated.
