An American Airlines Boeing 737-800 caught fire on the ground at Denver International Airport on Thursday evening, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Flight 1006, which departed from Colorado Springs Airport for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, was diverted to Denver after the crew detected engine vibrations, the FAA said in a statement.
