Thousands are marching across Serbia, demanding justice for a deadly railway disaster and an end to government corruption.
Thousands of Serbian students and citizens have taken to the streets in one of the largest protests in recent years, demanding justice for a deadly railway disaster and an end to corruption.
The movement, which began with a 90-kilometer march from Zrenjanin, has gained support from teachers, farmers, and workers.
Protesters are holding the government accountable for the collapse of Novi Sad train station three months ago, which left 15 dead.
While many blame authorities for negligence, the government denies corruption allegations and has pledged an anti-corruption campaign.
The demonstrations are set to peak with a mass rally in Vršac on Sunday.
