South Korea's defence ministry says it's carried out a joint air drill with the United States involving a B-1B bomber.
The Rockwell B-1 Lancer is a supersonic variable-sweep wing, heavy bomber, and is capable of carrying 57 tons of armaments. The exercise is in response to North Korea's nuclear and missile threats.
However, North Korea criticizes the nuclear submarine deal, the AUKUS partnership between the U.S. and Australia, calling it a regional threat.
