The private aircraft went down in vegetation in the municipality of Quadra, located about 100 miles (160 kilometers) from Sao Paulo city.
Local firefighters discovered two charred bodies at the crash site. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
Before Saturday's crash, the Brazilian Air Force had recorded 19 airplane accidents this year, five of which were fatal.
Earlier this month, on February 7, another small plane crashed in Sao Paulo, killing both the pilot and the plane’s owner shortly after taking off from a private airport.
In August, an aircraft crash near Vinhedo, Sao Paulo, claimed the lives of all 72 people on board.
