On February 12, diggers began clearing the destruction in Al Faraa refugee camp in the West Bank, following the Israeli military's 11-day operation aimed at militants. The campaign has displaced thousands of Palestinians, leaving extensive damage across the region.

On Wednesday, February 12, diggers began clearing debris from destroyed buildings in Al Faraa refugee camp, following the Israeli military's departure. Reuters footage showed multiple collapsed structures, wrecked cars, and damaged roads across the area.

According to local residents, Israeli forces had been operating in the region for eleven days, as part of a broader operation throughout the West Bank. Israel’s military, police, and intelligence units initiated the counter-terrorism campaign in Jenin on January 21, which they called a "large-scale and significant military operation."

The operation expanded to other areas, including Tulkarm, Al Faraa, and Tamun, with Israeli forces stating their goal was to target militants. Israel views the West Bank as a critical front in its broader strategy against Iranian-backed groups along its borders. The operation came after a ceasefire was reached in Gaza following the conflict with the Hamas militant group.

As a result of the operation, thousands of Palestinians have been displaced from their homes across the West Bank, fleeing the widespread destruction caused by the military campaign.
