In response to U.S. President Donald Trump's comments on trade and tariffs, Mao Ning stressed, "The China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation is mutually beneficial and win-win in nature."
She added that China has never intentionally sought a trade surplus and believes that differences should be resolved through dialogue.
"There is no winner in trade or tariff wars, and they do not serve the interests of any party and are detrimental to the global economy," Mao stated.
