Severe weather hit the southeastern United States this weekend, as at least ten tornadoes tore through Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The deadly storms caused widespread destruction, leaving at least four people dead.
In Crockett, Texas, a powerful tornado downed trees and power lines, ripped off parts of a clinic’s roof, and caused extensive damage near a nursing home. Torrential rainfall flooded streets, burst water pipes, and created dangerous conditions for residents and drivers.
Meanwhile, in Dickinson, Texas, over Galveston Bay, the storm system unleashed heavy rain and lightning, drenching the Gulf Coast under dark, overcast skies.
