Israel hits Yemen’s Hodeidah after missile lands near Ben Gurion Airport
Israel launched airstrikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah province after a Houthi missile landed near Tel Aviv, marking a sharp escalation in cross-regional hostilities.
The power station for Yemen TV stations in Hodeidah and at Sanaa International Airport was struck by Israel, targeting multiple sites linked to the Iran-aligned Houthi movement.
On Thursday, Israel struck multiple targets at the Houthi movement in Yemen, including Sanaa International Airport, and media network Al Masirah TV which broadcasted videos from two affected areas, stating three people were killed.
The Israeli military mentioned along with striking the airport, it also hit the military ports of Hodeidah, Salif, and Ras Kanatib on Yemen's west coast. It also attacked the country's Hezyaz and Ras Kanatib power stations.
Al Masirah TV said at the Sanaa Airport two people were killed in the strikes, one person was killed in the port, and 11 others were wounded in the attacks.
