Ukraine’s military says it has carried out strikes on one of Russia’s main explosives factories and an oil terminal in occupied Crimea, escalating long-range attacks on key sites supporting Moscow’s war effort.

Ukraine’s General Staff said on Monday that “numerous explosions” were reported after a strike on the Y. M. Sverdlov explosives factory in western Russia, which produces materials used in a wide range of ammunition for the Russian army.

A separate attack targeted an oil depot in the port city of Feodosia, eastern Crimea, setting off a large fire, according to the statement. Ukrainian forces also reported hitting an ammunition depot elsewhere on the peninsula, which has been under Russian occupation since 2014.

The strikes come as Kyiv intensifies its campaign against strategic Russian infrastructure, particularly fuel and logistics sites that sustain Moscow’s operations on the front line. Over recent months, Ukraine has expanded its use of long-range drones and missiles to reach deep into Russian-held territory.
