The death toll from monsoon-triggered floods in Pakistan has climbed to 104, with more than 200 people injured, according to the country’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

Heavy rains have continued to impact Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eastern Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan provinces. The NDMA has warned that rainfall may intensify in the coming days and urged local authorities to stay on high alert.

Monsoon rains regularly strike Pakistan between July and September, often causing widespread destruction and loss of life.
