Thailand embassies and consulates general in 39 countries now offer electronic visa (e-Visa) issuance
Thailand has expanded its electronic visa (e-Visa) program to 59 embassies and consulates worldwide, simplifying the visa process for travelers.
The e-Visa allows applicants to submit their visa requests online, eliminating the need to visit an embassy or consulate in person.
Previously available in 23 countries, the e-Visa now covers a wider range of locations across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Travelers can apply for an e-Visa at www.thaievisa.go.th.
Additionally, as of July 15, 2024, Thailand grants visa exemptions to citizens of 93 countries and territories, allowing stays of up to 60 days, with an option to extend by 30 days.
