Zurab Girchi Japaridze, leader of the "Coalition for Change," urged attendees to regroup and conserve their energy. "We need to rethink our strategy and come up with something different from what we have been doing here," he stated.
Japaridze explained that the opposition parties would soon unveil a revised action plan. He noted that the government’s altered approach—allowing the blocking of Melikishvili Avenue without intervention—had rendered the current protest ineffective. This led organizers to halt the demonstration, encourage participants to rest, and focus on planning a new course of action. Japaridze assured that the protests would continue, with a fresh rally likely to be held tomorrow.
