Azerbaijan sends the black boxes of the Aktau plane crash to Brazil's CENIPA for decoding, ensuring transparency, objectivity, and global standards in the investigation.
Azerbaijan has decided to send the black boxes from the Embraer 190 aircraft that crashed near Aktau to Brazil’s Aeronautical Accidents Investigation and Prevention Center (CENIPA), reflecting the country's transparent and principled approach.
The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport confirmed that Azerbaijani experts will oversee and take part in the delivery and decoding process at CENIPA, alongside international specialists invited by Azerbaijan.
This will ensure that the investigation is transparent, objective, and in line with global standards, aiming to strengthen the reliability of its findings.
The Ministry also noted CENIPA's advanced technical capabilities, with cutting-edge technology and internationally certified laboratories for data decoding, making it well-equipped for the task.
