Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev addressed the U.S.-Azerbaijan partnership, regional affairs, and initiatives with global significance during the Middle East U.S. Summit and AJCGlobal event at the U.S. Congress, according to the Azerbaijani Embassy to the U.S.
Hikmat Hajiyev also met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau as part of his visit to Washington.
The parties held in-depth discussions on strategic relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, as well as regional and global issues.
