Pashinyan, Witkoff discuss U.S.-Armenia ties ahead of White House trilateral

Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff discussed strengthening Armenia-U.S. strategic relations ahead of planned trilateral meetings at the White House.

The Armenian Prime Minister's Office said that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff held talks on Thursday focused on deepening bilateral cooperation and charting future steps in Armenia-U.S. strategic relations.

According to the statement, both sides also exchanged views on the trilateral talks scheduled to take place later today at the White House between Pashinyan and Trump. These discussions are set to be followed by another trilateral involving Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
