Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan held talks in Khankendi to strengthen bilateral ties and explore cooperation across multiple sectors.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the 17th ECO Summit in Khankendi.
The two discussed ways to deepen Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan relations through high-level visits and increased collaboration. Key topics included regional security, Caspian Sea affairs, and cooperation within international organizations.
