4.6-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southern Iran

An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck the Dashtestan district of Bushehr Province in southern Iran at 8:30 a.m. local time today, according to the National Seismology Center of the Institute of Geophysics at Tehran University.

The quake's epicenter was located in the Borazjan settlement within the Dashtestan district at a depth of six kilometers.

Authorities have confirmed that no damage or casualties have been reported in the affected area.
