Iran's Aerospace Force has unveiled a heavy-lift drone named "Gaza" to honour the Palestinian people's struggle against Israel.
The new unmanned aerial vehicle was presented during the large-scale military drill named "Great Prophet Authority" which was recently held in Southern Iran.
According to official statement, “Gaza” drone has a 22-meter wingspan, with ability to carry 500 kilograms that means delivery of 13 bombs.
With a travel range of 1,000 kilometers and a total of 35 hours of non-stop flying, the combat drone can gain top speed of 350 kilometres per hour.
During the military drill, the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps destroyed eight targets by using the Gaza drone for the first time.
