Turkmenistan's State Concerns "Turkmennebit" and "Turkmengaz" held talks with representatives of the Malaysian company Petronas, which has been operating in Turkmenistan for many years. These discussions addressed important aspects of bilateral relations development.
At the same time, the heads of "Turkmengaz" and "Turkmennebit" met with a delegation from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), currently visiting the country. The meeting covered the current status of cooperation in the oil and gas industry and explored future growth opportunities.
During a productive exchange on contemporary issues, ADNOC officials expressed strong interest in expanding multifaceted cooperation with Turkmenistan, praising its robust economy and consistent fulfillment of partnership commitments. The parties acknowledged significant potential for further strengthening bilateral ties.
Subsequently, an international meeting took place involving leaders of Turkmenistan’s fuel and energy complex, oil and gas industry experts, representatives of relevant UAE agencies, and executives from Petronas. The event focused on the present state and promising directions of cooperation.
At this meeting, bilateral agreements were signed, formalizing ongoing work in the oil and gas sector and outlining specific paths for collaboration development.
Among the signed documents were agreements aimed at boosting cooperation between the State Concern "Turkmennebit" and the companies "Petronas Carigali Turkmenistan" and "ADNOC Turkmenistan Limited."
Additionally, following a productive dialogue, agreements were also signed to develop relations between the State Concern "Turkmengaz" and the same Petronas and ADNOC affiliates.
