Uzbekistan and the EU reaffirm commitment to strengthening partnership during a meeting between officials.
On October 28, a meeting was convened between Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Terhi Hakala, the EU Special Representative for Central Asia.
The participants emphasized the essential importance of sustained collaboration to strengthen the partnership between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
Saidov and Hakala expressed their shared conviction regarding the importance of enriching the Uzbekistan-EU partnership with concrete outcomes. They specifically highlighted the Central Asia-European Union summit as a vital platform for the introduction of new initiatives aimed at furthering their collaboration.
The parties reached a consensus on the necessity for close cooperation to maintain a consistent upward trajectory in their partnership.
