On the sidelines of the Istanbul Natural Resources Summit, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, held bilateral meetings with Bulgarian Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov and Romanian Energy Minister Sebastian-Ioan Burduja.
Following the meeting with Bulgaria's minister, Shahbazov stated on X that the discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in natural gas supply and transit, advancing the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Türkiye-Bulgaria Green Energy Corridor project, and supporting Bulgaria’s gasification efforts.
The Azerbaijani minister also met with Romania’s Energy Minister in Istanbul, where the two discussed progress on the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor project, energy supply, and broader issues related to regional energy collaboration.
