International Solar Alliance promotes solar energy in 120 member countries

Ajay Mathur, Director General of the International Solar Alliance, told AnewZ that the ISA has 120 member countries, both developed countries and developing countries and that their goal is to enhance solar energy in all these countries. He emphasised that the ISA is helping the island countries to develop the kind of technologies like solar boards.

Mathur highlighted that last year 1.8 trillion dollars were invested in renewable energy globally, but approximately 90% were invested in China, India and Brazil and Africa just got 3%.
