Fekitamoeloa Katoa ‘Utoikamanu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tonga, told AnewZ that there are two main challenges for developing countries in the face of the growing climate change around the world: meeting the commitments of the Paris agreement, particularly the 1.5 degrees Celsius limit and then secondly in terms of fulfilling commitment by developed countries on providing funding to support the developing countries in responding to the impacts of climate change.
