North Korea strongly condemned the U.S. strike on Iran, calling it a grave violation of Iran’s sovereignty and security interests.
North Korea’s foreign ministry accused the United States and Israel of causing tensions in the Middle East due to “ceaseless war moves and territorial expansion” encouraged by the West.
An unnamed spokesperson, quoted by KCNA, said the U.S. attack “violently trampled down the territorial integrity and security interests of a sovereign state.”
The statement urged the international community to voice “unanimous censure and rejection” of the confrontational actions by the U.S. and Israel.
Iran and North Korea have long maintained friendly ties and are suspected of military cooperation, including ballistic missile development.
