France will host the 2026 G7 Summit in Evian-les-Bains, the Alpine resort town on Lake Geneva, President Macron announced.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Tuesday that France will host the G7 Summit 2026 in the Alpine spa town of Evian-les-Bains, located on the shores of Lake Geneva near the Swiss border.

Evian previously hosted the G7 in 2003, which was also the first summit attended by Russia, before its expulsion from the group in 2014.

Leaders of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, and the European Union will gather in Evian in summer 2026 to discuss key global issues.
