U.S. President Donald Trump has urged Iran to reach a deal on its nuclear program, warning that more violence could follow after Israel’s latest strikes on Iranian targets.

“There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Israel confirmed it launched strikes targeting Iranian nuclear sites, ballistic missile production centres, and senior military commanders. The operation, according to Israeli officials, is aimed at halting Iran's alleged efforts to build a nuclear weapon.

Trump’s remarks come amid rising tensions in the region, as global leaders warn of the risk of broader escalation.
