Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom have formalized a new phase in their defense relationship by signing a Military Cooperation Plan for 2025–2026. The agreement, finalized during an official visit by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Defense delegation to London, outlines key areas of collaboration such as peacekeeping missions, English language training, and the education of Kazakh military personnel at British defense institutions. Led by the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel Yerbol Kumarbekuly, the Kazakh delegation engaged in discussions on current defense priorities and long-term partnerships with UK officials.
