Geo News said the extreme weather continues to affect regions across the country.

In Muzaffarabad, located in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir region, three people died, one is missing, and over 30 homes have been destroyed. In Punjab, officials reported two deaths and 15 injuries due to storm-related vehicle accidents. Another four people were injured when homes collapsed.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a child was killed and two others were injured when a roof collapsed. The storms have also caused widespread power outages, and damage to homes, crops, and infrastructure.

Authorities have issued landslide warnings for northern regions and say the bad weather is expected to continue.

Just days earlier, on May 24, 19 people were killed and more than 90 injured in Punjab due to similar storm conditions.
