Delegations from Russia and Ukraine met in Türkiye for their first direct peace talks since 2022, with discussions lasting under two hours.
Russia and Ukraine held their first direct peace talks in more than three years on Friday, meeting in Türkiye for discussions aimed at exploring a path to end the ongoing conflict. The meeting, which lasted less than two hours, was the first face-to-face dialogue between the two sides since March 2022.
A photo shared by Ukraine's foreign ministry showed the delegations seated across from each other at a U-shaped table, with Turkish representatives positioned at the head.
