On 9th May, Europeans will celebrate Europe Day as 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration that laid the foundations for the European Union and paved the way for an unprecedented era of solidarity and cooperation in Europe.
To mark the occasion, events will be held across EU Member States and worldwide. EU institutions will open their doors, inviting the public to explore their work and participate in a variety of educational and engaging activities.
Landmark buildings and monuments across the globe will be illuminated in the EU colours, while a special Europe Day programme is planned for Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
