A shooting at a car show in Las Cruces left three teens dead and 15 others wounded, with police still searching for suspects.
Three teenagers were killed and 15 others injured in a mass shooting at a park in the southwestern U.S. state of New Mexico.
Authorities say the incident occurred during an unsanctioned car show that drew about 200 people. They believe the shooting resulted from an altercation between two groups that escalated into gunfire.
Police and fire crews responded quickly to the scene, where two 19-year-olds and a 16-year-old died. The injured range in age from 16 to 36.
Investigators recovered between 50 and 60 shell casings — all from handguns — scattered across a wide area of the park.
No arrests have been made, but police say they are actively pursuing multiple leads.
