Two-time world heavyweight boxing champion and Olympic gold medallist George Foreman has died at the age of 76.
Foreman, a legendary figure in boxing, began his career in the 1960s and famously lost his first title to Muhammad Ali in the iconic "Rumble in the Jungle" bout in 1974. Despite the loss, Foreman’s professional record was remarkable, with 76 total wins and 68 knockouts—nearly twice as many as Ali.
He first claimed the world heavyweight title in 1973 and made a historic comeback in 1994, winning it again at age 45.
His family announced his death in a social media post honoring his life and legacy.
