German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock revealed that she has experienced multiple instances of sexual harassment, including one during her school years.
During an appearance on the G Spot podcast, Baerbock recounted an incident where an older man placed his hand on her leg while she was on a school bus. She admitted feeling fear and shame before deciding to move to another seat.
She credited the #MeToo movement with changing her perspective on such experiences.
Baerbock also emphasised that 60% of women in Germany have encountered harassment, calling for a shift in accountability to perpetrators and encouraging open conversations on the issue.
