The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist militant group, claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement emailed to Reuters.At least 24 people have been killed and dozens are injured in a bomb blast at a railway station in Quetta in southwestern Pakistan on Saturday (9 November), a police official told Reuters earlier.
The senior superintendent of police operations, Muhammad Baloch, earlier said the blast took place inside the railway station when the Peshawar-bound train was about to leave.
