Russian and Ukrainian drone attacks injured civilians and disrupted infrastructure, as U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Kyiv and Moscow had agreed to what he described as an “energy ceasefire.”
Trump, in a social media post, said the energy ceasefire was taking effect immediately, but did not elaborate further.
There was no immediate confirmation from Kyiv or Moscow.
Earlier Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv was prepared to halt strikes on Russian oil refineries if Moscow stopped attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure, stressing that any de-escalation must be reciprocal and backed by guarantees.
Trump has blamed rising fuel prices on the Russia-Ukraine war rather than the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
A Russian attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region injured six people, including two children, and damaged apartment buildings, warehouses, vehicles and a fire station in Dnipro and surrounding communities.

On Sunday, Yandex said it was gradually restoring access to its services. However, some features remained unavailable.
“The Yandex Cloud team is working to restore service operations,” the company said.
In the Russian resort city of Sochi, debris from a Ukrainian drone fell on airport grounds, sparking a fire in an administrative building, the Krasnodar regional operational headquarters said.
Authorities also reported debris falling in residential areas and on hotel grounds. The incidents damaged the roof of a private house and sparked a fire in another building.
Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed its forces intercepted or destroyed 479 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian territory, annexed Crimea and the Black Sea.
The ministry also said Russian forces had struck a data centre in Odesa and a dry-cargo vessel at the port of Chornomorsk, alleging that the vessel had delivered military-related cargo.
The claims have not been independently verified.
Russia’s Defence Ministry also claimed that Russian troops had captured four villages in eastern Ukraine, Interfax reported on Sunday.
According to the report, the villages were Kupyne and Riznykove in the Kharkiv region, and Novotroitske and Davydovske in the Donetsk region. The claims could not be independently verified.
