Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of carrying out an airstrike on a boarding school in Sudzha, Kursk region, where civilians were preparing to evacuate.
In a post on X, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared a video purportedly showing the aftermath of the attack, including wounded civilians on stretchers, emergency workers, and a damaged building covered in debris.
"This is how Russia wages war," Zelenskiy wrote, comparing the attack to Russian military operations in Chechnya and Syria. He claimed Moscow uses the same indiscriminate tactics against its own civilians and called for stronger global action to stop such strikes.
The Kremlin has not commented on Ukraine’s accusations, while Russian officials earlier blamed Ukraine for attacking the same location.
The exchange of accusations comes as cross-border attacks have intensified in recent weeks, further escalating tensions between the two nations. Independent verification of battlefield claims remains limited.
